MOVING TO Germany

DOCUMENTATION:
1. Original ocean bill of lading / air waybill. Container Manifest
2. Copy of valid passport all pages
3. Inventory in German or English
4. Original certificate of leaving stamped by German consulate in country of leaving.
5. Original certificate of residence.
6. Photocopy of lease or deed residence.

RESTRICTED ITEMS:
1. Narcotics / drugs
2. Pornography.
3. Explosives
4. Firearms/Weapon Weapons ,may not be imported into Germany. (Exemption import allowed only with license to carry arms issued by the Germany authorities.

ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES / TOBACCO:
Owner has to pay full duties and taxes

DUTIES:
Duty free entry for used HHG/PE if the shipper's are used and have been in the owner's possession at least 12 months.

VEHICLES:
Used vehicle is allowed duty free if it has been in the possession of the owner for 6 months prior to his/her arrival. You must note the details of the vehicle in the inventory list. Certificate of registration.
